                                 NEXT MEETING:  Thursday, 30 July 2009   -   4pm - 8pm

                    Meeting 7 - Round 6                                              2 July 2009
Phew, all the racing was completed by 6pm, and as the Co-ordinator had to scuttle off to earn a living, many thanks go out to Debbie and Colin Perriss, Dave Cusdin, Simon Mollett, and the Marshalls for multi tasking in her and Fen's absence!
Newly signed up rider - Rob Webster really impressed our Instructor by listening to the riding tips, and putting them into practice - result - some excellent riding. Well done Rob.
Well done also goes out to David Borley - who wasn't in a 'riding mood' this session, yet elected to do so off track work with Colin Perriss.  Far better than me David, last time I wasn't in a riding mood, I left the bike in the middle of the road and got on a train - so that makes you a better rider than me!
We have lost Ellie Whiting - our only girlie rider in the MHB League - she has such a huge social life she can't fit us in anymore!  Daniel Horspole, who has now permanently stood down from the ENP4 Real Power league, will take her team place in MHB Services.

Westcotec League:
Westcotec Moto - Liam Greenacre did well by getting himself to the Arena when his lift didn't turn up - well done Liam.  Unfortunately none of his fellow riders attended this Meeting - but he is now 15 points ahead of 2nd place holders - Sam Smalley and Bryn Ballantine.
Westcotec KL -
Tee Jay Collins has again maintained her 1st place in this Round - despite retiring from the race.   Luke Betts, new to this league, has now moved up into 3rd place - well done Luke.  Robert Webster will join this league at Meeting 8.
MHB Services League

Again, there was no change to positioning in this round.  1st is Right Direction Team A, 2nd is MHB Services, 3rd is WPCS, and 4th is Right Direction Team C.  Scores are tabled below.
Riders League
Craig Rust again remains in 1st place, but rumour has it that he is transferring over to the ENP4 Real Power League.  Craig Everett now shares joint 2nd place with Sean Rowe (up 1 place) Daniel Cooper has moved up 2 places to  3rdDavid Borely and Omar Atiallah have both moved up, and are now sharing is 5th place.  Daniel Horspole is in 6th place.  All riders scores are listed below.
ENP4 Real Power League
James Blackburn has now increased the distance by 5 points between 1st and 2nd place.  Jon Perris is running 2nd, and Carl retains his 3rd place.  Daniel Warmer and Matthew Trudgill are neck a neck.

Practice makes perfect!   Absence loses you your placing!  It is startling how a rider's performance drops if they miss sessions, and how it improves when attending regularly.
The girlies are getting strong .. Tee Jay Collins is still holding off the lads in the Westcotec KL league.  In the MHB League, Jo Langston laid down a challenge to a fellow rider, for a head to head, and I must say girlie riders are very 'polite', she waited when he lost it on the corner on the 2nd lap, but in the following lap, when he and his bike once again parted company, she went on to do a lap of honour!  Jo's idea of one to one racing was very popular, and will be incorporated into the rider's practice time.
Well done Jo.
Westcotec League:
Westcotec Moto - Liam Greenacre is still holding the lead being 9 points ahead of the joint 2nd place holders.
Bryn Ballantine has upped his game and now holds joint 2nd place with Sam Smalley.  Ben Keatleigh is chasing Adam, who was a no show this meeting.
Westcotec KL     - Tee Jay Collins has again maintained her 1st place in this Round.  Dale Waring is only 3 points off the leading score.  James Connell-Shaw has retained his 3rd place.  Luke Betts, new to this league, scored a healthy 4 points   Billie Jean Collins, and Adam Hutcherson are both riding confidently.
MHB Services League
There was no change to positioning in this round.  1st is Right Direction Team A, 2nd is MHB Services, 3rd is WPCS, and 4th is Right Direction Team C.  Scores are tabled below.
Riders League
Craig Rust again remains in 1st place.   Craig Everett now holds 2nd place, and Sean Rowe is 3rd.  Connor Hatt has dropped to 4th.   Rocky Collins, who is riding well, has retained his 4th place (joint). Daniel Cooper has retained 5thDavid Borely is 6thThe remaining riders scores are listed below.
ENP4 Real Power League
Good pals, James Blackburn, and Jon Perris continue their fight over 1st place. James has now increased the distance by 4 points between 1st and 2nd place.  Carl retains his 3rd place.  Daniel Warmer, in his first season with Moto KL, is doing very well racing against these 3rd season riders.

                                 NEXT MEETING:  Thursday, 2 July 2009   -   4pm - 8pm

                    Meeting 5  - Round 4                                           4 June 2009
This was an excellent Meeting.  The Youth Committee excelled themselves assisting both the Committee and Riders in all areas - well done to Jon Perriss, James Blackburn, Matthew Trudgill, and Daniel Horspole.
Many thanks also to Craig Rust who multi tasked throughout this Meeting.
All the Riders were really focused, and many achieved a personal best in this racing round.
Thanks to all the Marshalls on a job well done.
The Committee relined the track earlier in the week, and the hard work was broken up by Paul Moss, immediately upon his arrival, entertaining us by inadvertently dipping both sleeves of his very expensive leathers into the white paint, with a finale of getting his boots covered too.   Each Committee member also decided that the other's painting was not up to standard, and we all redid each other's lining efforts.  All highly entertaining - anyone wishing to join us next time to lend a hand can be assured they will not be bored 1  Those of a sensitive nature, who do not enjoy being ribbed, should not attend !
A call out goes to our new young photographer  ...er... Steve ,, where are the pics for the last 2 sessions.
if any of you see this lad ,,     can you moan at him please (especially his mum) !
Westcotec League
Westcotec Moto - George Smith-Rayner was unable to attend due to a sprained wrist.  Wishing you a speedy recovery George.   Bryn Ballantine, who has moved up to Joint 3rd, was joined by Ben Keatleigh - a former rider - welcome back Ben.  (Liam, Sam, and Adam were a no show).
Westcotec KL     - Luke Betts has decided to change Leagues and will join Billie Jean Collins, Tee Jay Collins, James Connell-Shaw, Dale Waring, and Adam Hutcherson in Round 5.  Tee Jay Collins maintained her 1st place in this Round.  Dale Waring has moved up from 4th to 2nd place.
MHB Services League
Right Direction Teams A, B, and C have been amalgamated from 3 teams into 2 due to Rider absence.
Team A:  Craig Rust, Sean Rowe, Joshua Burden, and Rocky Collins.
Team C:   Connor Hatt, Jo Langston, Omar Atiallah, and Tom Bowers.
Team Norfolk Arena - Callum Bacon has been removed for non attendance.  It has been decided to re-assign the remaining 2 riders to the other teams.  Thus Ellie Whiting will join WPCS, and David Borley will join Team MHB Services for Round 5.
Riders League
Craig Rust remains in 1st place.   Craig Everett and Sean Rowe have moved into in joint 2nd from 3rd.  Connor Hatt was unwell, and absent from this Meet, has dropped from 2nd to 3rd.  David Borley is sharing joint 4th with Rocky Collins who has moved up from 6th.  Daniel Cooper has moved up to 5thJosh Rayner, who was a no show at this Meet, has dropped from 4th to 6th.
A well done goes out to Omar Atiallah, Rocky Collins, Sean Rowe, and Daniel Cooper who all achieved a personal best this meeting.
ENP4 Real Power League
This Meeting ENP4 had two races - Round 3 & 4 (Round 3 having been rained off). Chaos reigned in Round 3 - with the race having to be re-run.  The Round 4 race ran far smoother, apart from Jon Perriss high siding - luckily he bounces well !  But this mishap has caused Jon to drop to 2nd place from Joint 1st.  Daniel Horspole was not happy with his performance this Meet, and considered changing leagues, but has since decided to remain in ENP4 Real Power.  Dan Cusdin, who was running 3rd, has decided to retire.

                                 NEXT MEETING:  Thursday, 18 June 2009   -   4pm - 8pm

                                               Meeting 4                    21 May 2009
Sadly this Meeting got rained off before we had completed all the Races.  Once again we have 75% attendance, with 11 Riders not attending.  Unfortunately some riders have now lost their team places due to non attendance.   Thanks to those Riders who helped set up the track.
Westcotec League:  We welcomed 2 new Riders - Abby Wright and Heather Wilson - unfortunately they did not get a chance to do their induction at this Meeting - so have not yet been allocated to a League.
Jack Rayner has not yet been allocated to a League.
Jed Lunness have moved into the MHB League, and will now ride for WPCS.
Westcotec has split its league as follows:
Westcotec Moto - Liam Greenacre, George Smith-Rayner, Sam Smalley, Adam Footer, Bryn Ballantine
Westcotec KL     - Billie Jean Collins, Tee Jay Collins, James Connell-Shaw, Dale Waring
MHB Services League:  Rain stopped the 4th race.  There has been a change round in positions again this Round.  Right Direction Team A have now taken the lead by 12 points - Craig Rust scored 18 Team points single handedly as none of his team mates attended - he won all of his 3 races.  Well done Craig!
WPCS have dropped to 2nd place, having held 1st place in Round 1 and 2.
Right Direction Team B remain constant in 3rd place.
MHB Services remain in 4th place, whereas Right Direction Team C have regained their 5th place.
Riders League:   Craig Rust remains in 1st place.  Connor Hatt now solely holds 2nd.  Craig Everett and Sean Rowe remain in joint 3rd.
ENP4 Real Power League:
This League was rained off completely, and Riders did not even get to sit on a bike, except for Jon Perris and James Blackburn who were our test dummies to see if the track was dry enough .... er .. thanks for that !!  Luckily they both bounce well in their leathers.
Happy birthday to Jon - we forgot to give you the bumps - remind us next session !
Daniel Horspole was an immense help today - many thanks Daniel.
Apologies to Daniel Warmer who was looking forward to his first ride in this League.  We have allocated him 4
points in line with the 3 other riders to compensate for coming into this league late.
Two Races will be held at the next session to make up their Rounds.

                     Next Meeting Thursday, 7 May 2009 - 4pm start

Meeting 1          9 April 2009

Well, here we are all again!   We have a young photographer on board this year, all photos will be by kind permission of Steven Perris of S P Photographics, Action Photographer, who can be seen at the track, or contacted on E-mail s.p.photographics@live.co.uk or by phone on 07904202541.  Steven can be booked for personal riding shots or even do you a CD - please contact him direct for details.  Steven will also be supplying Moto KL with photos.
This year we will not be posting full session photographs on the website - this is due to the immense amount of work involved to do so, and the minimal amount of viewings of the riding shots from  the majority of the riders.
Many thanks to Colin Perris for supplying all the photos over the last 2 seasons .. he will now be enslaved into marshalling for us instead !!
We are running 3 leagues this year.
Westcotec Novice League   the individual novice riders will race each other

MHB Services League
6 Teams  are participating in this league.
Right Direction Team A, Team B, and Team C
MHB Services, Norfolk Arena, and WPCS

ENP4 Real Power League     6 of our riders, deemed very experienced, will race on an
individual basis in this league.  Riders can aspire to join this
league when sufficient experience is gained.

In addition to MHB Services, and Westcotec, who we are so grateful to for supporting us over the last 2 seasons, we have a new sponsor on board for this season - Wendy Wallace, of Wallace Professional Cleaning Services, Downham Market, who no doubt will be keeping an eye on the WPCS team named after her company!

Many thanks to Simon, who spent the whole day preparing the existing bikes, and building the new bikes.
3 of our novices got promoted into the MHB League - Daniel Cooper, Craig Everett, and Daniel Warmer.
The remaining riders spent the time just practising and re-honing their skills after the 5 month closed season.  Unfortunately Shannon Desborough had to make a trip to the hospital to check her arm after a fall - luckily nothing was broken, and we all wish you a speedy recovery Shannon.  Debbie, the Trackside Manager and Dave Cusdin had their work cut out organising everyone!  The Co-ordinator had not one, but two assistants - Jordan Rowe and Billie-Jean Collins, and a lot of help they were too!  Many thanks!  Thanks also to Melonie Brooks, Martin Wilson, and Craig Everett's brother and his pal.

Racing commences at the next Meet on Thursday, 23 April 2009.  See you all there!
Please remember to always check the Calendar page on the website for Meeting date changes, or check with the Co-ordinator on 01366 385 449 or 07944 943 651.
