| Phew, all the racing was
completed by 6pm, and as the Co-ordinator had to scuttle off to earn
a living, many thanks go out to Debbie and Colin Perriss, Dave
Cusdin, Simon Mollett, and the Marshalls for multi tasking in her
and Fen's absence! Newly signed up rider - Rob Webster really impressed our Instructor by listening to the riding tips, and putting them into practice - result - some excellent riding. Well done Rob. Well done also goes out to David Borley - who wasn't in a 'riding mood' this session, yet elected to do so off track work with Colin Perriss. Far better than me David, last time I wasn't in a riding mood, I left the bike in the middle of the road and got on a train - so that makes you a better rider than me! We have lost Ellie Whiting - our only girlie rider in the MHB League - she has such a huge social life she can't fit us in anymore! Daniel Horspole, who has now permanently stood down from the ENP4 Real Power league, will take her team place in MHB Services.

| Meeting 5 - Round 4 4 June 2009 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This was an excellent
Meeting. The Youth Committee excelled themselves assisting
both the Committee and Riders in all areas - well done to Jon
Perriss, James Blackburn, Matthew Trudgill, and Daniel Horspole. Many thanks also to Craig Rust who multi tasked throughout this Meeting. All the Riders were really focused, and many achieved a personal best in this racing round. Thanks to all the Marshalls on a job well done. The Committee relined the track earlier in the week, and the hard work was broken up by Paul Moss, immediately upon his arrival, entertaining us by inadvertently dipping both sleeves of his very expensive leathers into the white paint, with a finale of getting his boots covered too. Each Committee member also decided that the other's painting was not up to standard, and we all redid each other's lining efforts. All highly entertaining - anyone wishing to join us next time to lend a hand can be assured they will not be bored 1 Those of a sensitive nature, who do not enjoy being ribbed, should not attend ! A call out goes to our new young photographer ...er... Steve ,, where are the pics for the last 2 sessions. if any of you see this lad ,,
can you moan at him please (especially his mum) !Westcotec League Westcotec Moto - George Smith-Rayner was unable to attend due to a sprained wrist. Wishing you a speedy recovery George. Bryn Ballantine, who has moved up to Joint 3rd, was joined by Ben Keatleigh - a former rider - welcome back Ben. (Liam, Sam, and Adam were a no show). Westcotec KL - Luke Betts has decided to change Leagues and will join Billie Jean Collins, Tee Jay Collins, James Connell-Shaw, Dale Waring, and Adam Hutcherson in Round 5. Tee Jay Collins maintained her 1st place in this Round. Dale Waring has moved up from 4th to 2nd place. MHB Services League Right Direction Teams A, B, and C have been amalgamated from 3 teams into 2 due to Rider absence. Team A: Craig Rust, Sean Rowe, Joshua Burden, and Rocky Collins. Team C: Connor Hatt, Jo Langston, Omar Atiallah, and Tom Bowers. Team Norfolk Arena - Callum Bacon has been removed for non attendance. It has been decided to re-assign the remaining 2 riders to the other teams. Thus Ellie Whiting will join WPCS, and David Borley will join Team MHB Services for Round 5. Riders League Craig Rust remains in 1st place. Craig Everett and Sean Rowe have moved into in joint 2nd from 3rd. Connor Hatt was unwell, and absent from this Meet, has dropped from 2nd to 3rd. David Borley is sharing joint 4th with Rocky Collins who has moved up from 6th. Daniel Cooper has moved up to 5th. Josh Rayner, who was a no show at this Meet, has dropped from 4th to 6th. A well done goes out to Omar Atiallah, Rocky Collins, Sean Rowe, and Daniel Cooper who all achieved a personal best this meeting. ENP4 Real Power League This Meeting ENP4 had two races - Round 3 & 4 (Round 3 having been rained off). Chaos reigned in Round 3 - with the race having to be re-run. The Round 4 race ran far smoother, apart from Jon Perriss high siding - luckily he bounces well ! But this mishap has caused Jon to drop to 2nd place from Joint 1st. Daniel Horspole was not happy with his performance this Meet, and considered changing leagues, but has since decided to remain in ENP4 Real Power. Dan Cusdin, who was running 3rd, has decided to retire.

| Sadly this Meeting got rained
off before we had completed all the Races. Once again we have
75% attendance, with 11 Riders not attending. Unfortunately
some riders have now lost their team places due to non attendance.
Thanks to those Riders who helped set up the track. Westcotec League: We welcomed 2 new Riders - Abby Wright and Heather Wilson - unfortunately they did not get a chance to do their induction at this Meeting - so have not yet been allocated to a League. Jack Rayner has not yet been allocated to a League. Jed Lunness have moved into the MHB League, and will now ride for WPCS. Westcotec has split its league as follows: Westcotec Moto - Liam Greenacre, George Smith-Rayner, Sam Smalley, Adam Footer, Bryn Ballantine Westcotec KL - Billie Jean Collins, Tee Jay Collins, James Connell-Shaw, Dale Waring MHB Services League: Rain stopped the 4th race. There has been a change round in positions again this Round. Right Direction Team A have now taken the lead by 12 points - Craig Rust scored 18 Team points single handedly as none of his team mates attended - he won all of his 3 races. Well done Craig! WPCS have dropped to 2nd place, having held 1st place in Round 1 and 2. Right Direction Team B remain constant in 3rd place. MHB Services remain in 4th place, whereas Right Direction Team C have regained their 5th place. Riders League: Craig Rust remains in 1st place. Connor Hatt now solely holds 2nd. Craig Everett and Sean Rowe remain in joint 3rd. ENP4 Real Power League: This League was rained off completely, and Riders did not even get to sit on a bike, except for Jon Perris and James Blackburn who were our test dummies to see if the track was dry enough .... er .. thanks for that !! Luckily they both bounce well in their leathers. Happy birthday to Jon - we forgot to give you the bumps - remind us next session ! Daniel Horspole was an immense help today - many thanks Daniel. Apologies to Daniel Warmer who was looking forward to his first ride in this League. We have allocated him 4 points in line with the 3 other riders to compensate for coming into this league late. Two Races will be held at the next session to make up their Rounds.
